Grant Guidelines
Geographic Limitations
The Foundation accepts grant requests from eligible tax-exempt organizations operating within Northern Minnesota Counties of: Cook, Lake, St. Louis, Carlton, Itasca, Northern Pine and Koochiching.
General Purposes
Based on resolutions adopted by the Board of Directors, the Foundation is operated to support community-based programs focused on finding solutions to chronic health issues.
Size and Duration
- Grants: Requests up to $100,000 are accepted, reviewed and awarded at the discretion of the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis. Grant awards greater than $50,000 may be disbursed over a 2 or 3 year time period.
- Contributions and Sponsorships: Requests in amounts up to $500.00 are accepted throughout the year are awarded at the discretion of the Executive Director.
Grant Cycle
Proposals are reviewed and awarded at the discretion of the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis, on the following schedule:
